A 23-year-old Japanese man who used 2% ketoconazole (KCZ) lotion during shampooing everyday.

The six Japanese males from 23 to 51 years old were enrolled in this study with their written informed consent. They presented with grade II vertex to IVa AGA according to the Hamilton–Norwood classification [4]. The subjects applied topical 2% KCZ lotion (Nizoral®) almost every day during or immediately after hair washing with their own unmedicated shampoos. When they revisited our clinic every several months, clinical pictures were obtained to determine the efficacy of the treatment. Two of the men, one 23 years old with grade II vertex and the other 25 years old with Va AGA, showed remarkable hair regrowth after 6 and 10 months, respectively (Fig. 1). The 23-year-old male stopped using KCZ and 3 months later hair loss recurrence on the vertex was noted (Fig. 1c). When he started using KCZ again during shampooing, hairs on the vertex grew again after 3 months (Fig. 1d). These findings constitute evidence of the clinical efficacy of KCZ for AGA. A 41-year-old male showed a slight increase in vertex hair growth after 1 year. Other three of the men, 31, 38 and 51 years old did not show significant improvement. These findings suggest that topical KCZ with shampoo can be effective for some males with AGA.

hay que hacer caso al estudio, no a lo que hayamos leído por los foros que posiblemente se haya malinterpretado...existen estudios y evidencias que el champú keto hace algo...pero el estudio en concreto japonés no usó el champú.

si lo leemos bien lo probaron 6 y sólo le funcionó a 2.

y si leemos de nuevo veremos que al de 23 años que le funcionó lo usaba DURING SHAMPOOING. Es decir lo aplicaba junto al champú y evidentemente luego hay que enjuagar.

nada de dejarlo toda la noche en ese caso. No se especifica nada de eso en ningún sitio.

ahora bien, cada uno que lo interprete como quiera, yo lo he interpretado así como digo, leyendo el propio estudio detenidamente.

Oye y si se mezclase el champu con keto y otro comercial no ayudaia mas a la absorcion? Porque la crema se puede conseguir facilmente en España?

no, porque supuestamente lo que mejora la absorción son los detergentes junto con los excipientes de la crema.

el champú ketoconazol ya lleva esos detergentes como un champú comercial, por eso el champú ketoconazol por sí sólo funciona algo. al mezclarlo con un champú comercial no añades nada porque el keto en champú ya lleva los detergentes.

pero en el estudio usaron la crema junto con un champú comercial.

y la crema lo que lleva es polisorbato, alcoholes y etc...que junto a los detergentes harían sinergia.

por lo que estoy comprobando, lo que deja el pelo reseco y pajoso del champú ketoconazol deben ser son los excipientes...ya que ahora que uso el keto en crema junto un champú normal el pelo se queda humectado y con brillo.

Fungarest 2%, el precio ni idea porque casualmente tenía un bote por casa...por decir algo 3 o 4 euros?

habrá otras marcas y genéricos pero no te puedo garantizar qué excipientes contienen, lo que puedo garantizar es que Fungarest tiene los mismos excipientes que la Nizoral, con la que se hicieron los estudios.

con cualquiera, pero a ser posible que no lleva zinc y esa cosas, como dice en el estudio UNMEDICATED SHAMPOOS...no es lo que digo yo, es lo que dice el estudio.

y esta frase creo que no la invento y no es difícil de malinterpretar:

Como podemos ver o la aplicaban durante o después y luego podemos ver como de ellos al que le parece funcionar luego:

Lo que significa que lo hacía durante y no después.

Si álguien cree que estoy malinterpretando ahora el estudio que de sus explicaciones.
